Welcome to the Services of Lilit Pogosian, M.D.
Dr. Pogosian has expertise in the areas of women’s mental health, mood disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and addiction. She has undergone psychotherapy training in the areas of cognitive-behavior therapy, mentalization-based therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. She treats patients ages 16 and older. She specializes in treating psychiatric symptoms with medication alone, psychotherapy alone, or with a combination of both as deemed appropriate. If you are seeing a therapist, she will work closely with your therapist to optimize care. Dr. Pogosian strives to provide highly individualized treatment to tailor to her patient’s specific needs, rather than those based on an insurance company’s demands and restrictions upon the time and frequency of patient care. Therefore, she does not participate on any insurance panels or Medi-cal. She is considered an out-of-network provider and can provide her patients with a detailed receipt to submit to the insurance company for reimbursement. Fees must be paid in full at the time of service, in the form of cash or check.
